Next Tuesday (March 27) afternoon we will invite 5 members of Hangzhou Expat to China National Tea Museum中国茶叶博物馆 for an unexpected enchanting experience which includes picking tea leaves, watching tea roasted by hand, tasting a glass of authentic Longing tea as well as visiting the museum to explore the tales of Longing Tea. What is notable of the activity is that the tea we will pick and taste is of the highest quality as it is the very first tea sprouts in spring and it is the celebrated pre-Qingming Longing Tea

China National Tea Museum, which is located in Longing Village in Hangzhou, is the only museum in the country with the tea theme. It's a perfect destination to experience the celebrated Longing Tea, and it's one of the few places where people can enjoy the authentic Longjing tea, which is made from the tender tea leaves that are harvested in early spring. The museum covers an area of 22,000 square meters and has no external walls but is enclosed by vegetation giving the unique impression that the halls and the tea plants inside depend upon each other.
